2 Days QUEEN ELIZABETH WILDLIFE SAFARI

Day 1: KAMPALA - QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK

From Kampala we will depart for Queen Elizabeth National Park. On our way we will pass the Ugandan equator where you can take pictures and shop for a souvenir. After lunch in Mbarara we continue to the southwest and head for the Western Rift Valley. As we enter the park we will take a mini game drive, where by if you are lucky you can spot the first wildlife, like waterbucks and warthogs, before arriving at your accommodation in the middle of the park. Dinner and overnight at Institute of Ecology Hostel.
For upgrade you can stay at Mweya Safari Lodge or Hippo hill camp.

Day 2: QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK

The day begins early as we go for a morning game drive and head for Kasenyi plains where you can spot Uganda Kobs in their nature habitat. We search for lions, elephants, buffaloes and other wild animals in their natural habitat, the game drive normally take 2-3 hrs before returning for breakfast. In the afternoon we take on a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, a natural link between Lake Edward and Lake George. The Channel accommodates abundant wildlife, hundreds of birds that are sighted fishing in the channel and hundreds of hippos that are cooling off at the shores, this cruise will definitely be one of the highlights of your safari. Dinner and overnight at Institute of Ecology Hostel.

Day 3: QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK - KAMPALA

After breakfast we will take you for a walk through the Maramagambo Forest, known for the Blue Lake and the Bat and Hunters Cave. You will get the chance to have a close look at the bats and maybe even the rock python and forest cobras that feed on the bats. The same walk will provide you with views of different bird species, primates and trees.
After this activity we will leave Queen Elizabeth National Park and head back towards the capital city with lunch en route. Arrival in Kampala in the evening.


Two types of safaris are offered:
Budget safari (simple guesthouses, hostels and furnished tents):
$ 380-450 per person when 6 people
$ 440 per person when 4 people
$ 520 per person when 2 people
Luxury safari (lodges, hotels and luxury tented camps):

The prices include:
Ground transportations, English speaking driver/guide, accommodation, meals, bottled mineral water, park entrance fees, game drive, walk, boat launch, fees.
The prices exclude:
Full day, tips and personal items.
